Why Would We Bother To Vote?
With the forthcoming London Mayor election I ask why we bother to vote?
There is not one candidate who one can admire and not one of them represents good family values let alone Christian ethics. With Ken in the church last year at the carol service and now canvassing for an Islamic beacon, I ask what hymn sheet is he singing from ?
With Boris being found to be such a womaniser when I ask ,does he get any time to even go to the office. The Green Party are shouting at a time of carbon economy when the majority of us are struggling to survive this economy
The LIb Democratic party field an ex policeman at a time one can’t even find a policeman on the street as we have been overrun by parking wardens dressed in armed combat gear. London may be the centre of the financial world but the regulators like so much else has failed. The Mayor perhaps is someone useful enough to cut the Olympic red ribbon but not clever enough to cut the red ink on the bank statement after creating a stadium that cost 30 times more than the one built in Wales a few years ago.
Yes we have new bendy buses as a result of Boris and some bikes strapped on every street corner but we are riddled with street crime, sex traffickers and overrun by the rodent rats as London becomes a food court.
Town planning paralysed commerce and allowed a few egg boxes to line our river Thames doing almost as much damage as the fire of 1666 and the Luftwaffe of 1940. So all in all bring back Dick Whittington and his cat to catch the rats, politicians and ex policemen, traffic wardens and all. Vote for Dick Whittington.
